We have been visiting Orange Beach for years and always stopped at the Kangaroo Shell on Canal Road. The place was always immaculate and forward thinking (I.e., first gas station I visited that could take Apple Pay). On this visit I noticed surprising changes. The place was generally dirty/grimy, the Apple Pay did not work, and finally, the air station didn’t work properly (I had to go to another station). The last change I noticed was that it was now a Circle K. I have nothing against Circle K but they clearly don’t stack up to the prior owners.
