This is a nice place to visit, but if you are visiting to fish, it may not be for you. The access to the water needs to be greatly improved, and fish attractors (such as fallen trees) need to be added along the shoreline in accessible areas. The grass is often high and if you don't spray yourself really well, you will be covered in ticks. I've never really had much luck fishing here so I make the much longer drive to the Bibb County Lake which is set up much nicer with better water access.
