Montgomery Zoo

This is one of the best Zoo we have ever been to. Just so amazing. The staff was so friendly. Very inexpensive place for the whole family to spend the day. The concession food was good and all so inexpensive. Thehippo and mom was a show in it's self.

We loved this zoo! We brought a five and two year old and spent close to four hours here (we might have stayed longer but it was closing time). The price seemed reasonable compared to other zoos and aquariums we have been to in the area. It is extra to do any of the extras (train ride, sky lift, feed the giraffes), but they are definitely with it. The sky lift was our favorite part. It takes about f 10 minutes and I was able to sit with both kids. You get to see zebras, elephants, giraffes, Lions, etc. while riding. There were a lot of animals without being super spread out which was perfect for young kids. There were also things like the rides and playground that let you take a break from walking. We didn't eat at the Overlook Cafe, but it seemed like a great place to have lunch. I think if you eat and do all the activities you could spend an entire day in the zoo. We had a great time and plan on going back!
