Cashiers should have a sense of urgency. Too many times I had to wait in an empty store while the cashier finished whatever they were doing when they saw me drive up or walk in. Also they should not discuss personal issues in front of customers. Not everyone feels comfortable listening to your drama. This is reference to a few cashiers that work there now. You know who you are. Tighten up!
