Our dogs had been in for their well visits and 2 weeks later our puppy passed away due to unknown causes. I called Banfield to ask if we could bring her in to be cremated, and was shown absolutely no emotion whatsoever. My husband and I, along with our two small children, had to walk through the front doors carrying our sweet girl in a box. The vet saw us through the doors and never once came out from the back to acknowledge us. The receptionist was cold and barely said a word as I tried to compose myself. The most she said was asking for my credit card. We received no condolences at all. Most respectful vets do a paw print in clay or some sort of remembrance, but Banfield could obviously care less. When we took our one dog in for her next well visit, there was also never a word said about our other dog. Just surprising since most family vets are very personal and treat pets like people because that's their job. We will not return nor recommend them.
I would give zero stars if it were possible. Expensive, cold hearted, and evil.
