Twisted Root Birmingham

I had the western burger and my wife made her own with mushrooms and bacon. They were both quite good and only about $10 each. Do yourself a favor and get every pickle slice at the pickle bar (ranch and wasabi were my favorites). Be careful, the Dijon horseradish mustard is no joke, it's delicious and quite strong. The fried pickles were well breaded which IMO is hard to find these days. Be sure you ask for the sweet potato fries, they aren't on the menu but our cashier was kind enough to mention them. We didn't try any exotic meats so I'll have to go back later for boar and ostrich. Given how well the burger was cooked I really want to try some of those. Overall an easy recommendation for friends, family, and Google.
