TownePlace Suites by Marriott Birmingham Homewood

I was first disappointed to find the two bedroom suite only has one bathroom. The Residence Inn has two. The towel bar was on the floor. There was no shampoo, we had body lotion and conditioner, but no shampoo. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The light over the nightstand in one bedroom did not work. The main door to the room was loose on the hinges making it difficult to engage the lock. Overall the facility was in a bad state of repair.
