While the staff is polite, I have had a horrible move-in experience. I moved in a week ago today, and my apartment was obviously not prepared for me despite having set a move-in date three weeks prior to moving in. As of writing this review, all of the issues listed have been present since I moved in with absolutely no one having shown up to work on or update me on any of it. The list of issues include unfinished tub tile and fixture, missing closet door, broken oven door (in fact, the whole stove/oven unit isn't working/powered), missing washer and dryer, dead fridge light, missing fridge shelf, disconnected water line to fridge, and a missing light switch cover. The assistant property manager and I walked through the apartment together noting all of these issues the day that I moved in, so they definitely know about them.
On top of those things, I requested an updated unit, and though they did repaint, update the kitchen, and replace the flooring, the paint job was very lazily/hastily done. Everything on the walls was painted over instead of being removed or painted around - the light switches, the outlets, telephone and cable jacks, AC vents, and even the breaker box. I had to scrape paint off of the breaker box latch to even access it.
I would like to say that my frustrations end there, but I have to also add that two of my Amazon packages were stolen from my front door the day before I moved in. To be fair, this isn't Stone Crossing's fault directly, but my understanding was that the front office accepted packages on tenant's behalf which they later confirmed that they do. However, when I visited USPS to verify that my packages weren't there, they told me that it was against Stone Crossing policy to accept Amazon packages and that the packages were definitely delivered to my building. Obviously, there is a misunderstanding/miscommunication somewhere, but I have been without some items for my apartment for a week now trying to get them replaced and reshipped.
If someone from staff would contact me to resolve these issues ASAP, I would be happy to edit this review. In the meantime, I will work on adding photos to this review of most of my issues.
