I have to recommend Scott's Jewelry and Pawn if you ever need a pawn shop. Today was my first experience with a pawn shop and I went in thinking they would take advantage of my jewelry ignorance and poor negotiation skills. I took my old engagement ring that has been in a closet for 7 years and I wanted to sell it. I had no clue what it was worth and he was great about it. He said he could only give me half its worth, which I would have taken but he recommended other ways to double the price. After that he cleaned and buffed it just to be nice. These guys really go the extra mile.
