I walked into the Hoover location knowing exactly what I wanted and had it ordered and a delivery date set for 29 March 2018. During my purchase the sales man called out my phone number wrong to me and I corrected him on it. I was told I would receive a phone call 2 days prior to my furniture being delivered but I never received that phone call. During the day of the delivery I looked at the paper work and my phone number was still wrong on it. I called to let them know and was told that the driver was already “out of the area” and would not return. After talking with 4 or 5 different people the rest of the morning the manager finally told me the only thing he could do would be to have it delivered the NEXT Saturday and only refund me the delivery fee. No one seemed overly concerned that I burned a PTO day at work for this delivery or that they “couldn’t” get it to me any sooner than a week and a half after my original delivery date. UPDATE (03 April 2018): Found out yesterday that even though I was told by the manager my furniture would be delivered on Saturday (04/07/18), they couldn't make that work and now plan to deliver it the following Wednesday (04/11/2018). The only thing they could offer me at this point was an apology, so I got that going for me.
