My first visit to Dr. Ocampo and I believe I may have just found my permanent podiatrist. As a retired military pilot and combat boot wearer, you can only imagine the foot related issues that have cropped up over a period of three decades. Dr. Ocampo’s staff is charming, well spoken, and just plain easy to deal with. From everything leading up to my appointment, reminders, information during my procedure and imformative with followup care details- the left nothing out. Dr Ocampo is professional, eloquent, and while explaining the procedure makes every effort to ease whatever apprehensions you may have. He is what you imagine a hometown Doctor should be. I felt as if I’d known him for years after leaving his care. Quite an energetic and personable fellow. I had two ingrown toenails that needed attention. He cleaned and prepped the sites, sprayed this magical cold concoction which I believe was ethyl chloride. I didn’t even feel the two injections into the sides of both toes after he prepped the site for injections. Really! No pain or discomfort. Pretty amazing actually. We then waited approximately 15 minutes for the numbing to take effect, he started the procedure and I can’t state this enough- THE WAS NO PAIN!! After another 15 minutes, I was bandaged up, given care instructions on a piece of paper, told what cream was waiting for me to pickup at my local pharmacy and sent on my merry way. Dr Ocampo has a fan for life. My close friends will receive my glowing recommendation. This old warrior thanks you.
