Let me start from the beginning. I was in need of a place to move to, so I filled out an application for a ramblewood apartment and was told it could take up to 3 days for a background check to come back. I called every week for three weeks until I was finally informed on the 3rd week that my back ground check had been misplaced. After several calls to the office and still without answers or results, I called the regional manager. After contacting him and demanding to get an apartment, they had me fill out a stack of useless papers, and had to pay for notary on several of them. They finally got me an apartment. After a week or so, my father needed a place to live for a while and I needed assistance on rent so I called to have him added to the lease and was advised that I didn't have to add him to the lease nor anyone else that was to live with me. So I didn't. I got a job as a CSP at H and R block in Gadsden, and instead of traveling from fort payne to Gadsden for the interview process and training i went to stay with a friend in Gadsden. I stayed in Gadsden for 3 weeks and during that time my dad was living, keeping up and paying for the apartment during my absence. When I returned home, my father and I found a note on the door for the approvale of rental assistance, which would drop my rent to $61. Since I had assistance and no longer needed assistance from my dad... he moved out that weekend. I have been living in my apartment since, paying the bills on time, and keeping it up as required. My husband has since then... started staying with me, because we decided to work on our marriage. He has proof of his lease elsewhere, and since I wasn't required to add my father to the lease, I didn't add my husband. Well today, after living here for four months the manager of the apartment complex was terminated so I applied for the available position. The regional called and set up an interview for the position with me, but when I attended the interview... I discovered that they called me to the office under false pretenses. The previous manager made a mistake telling me that I didn't have to add anyone to my lease. So she reported each time I had a person living there, and also made it out like I abandoned the apartment and lied about my emploument. The staff at this apartment complex is rude, munipulative, and coniving. I will NEVER recommend this as a residence to anyone. Stay far away from these apartments and staff... they will ruin your life.
