Last year I mistakenly moved into a horrible apartment complex, and I never thought a place with such charming staff could actually be WORSE!
It's Feb 7 and when I signed the lease on January 23rd I was repeatedly assured that any repairs would be made if I was unsatisfied with the condition of the apartment.
The conditions of this residence are absolutely unacceptable and it has already been 15 days!!! God only knows how much longer it will be until anything is done...
Here is a list of the most important repairs which require immediate attention:
1) The kitchen sink sprays water on the counter and wall.
2) The kitchen sink is leaking under the cabinets.
3) The bathroom shower curtain is damaged and on the FLOOR.
4) All 5 of the master bedroom wall sockets need to be replaced because they are damaged and don't work.
5) The floor-length blinds in the living room need to be replaced. They are busted, chipped, and they also prevent any form of privacy during the night, as people can see inside, and I'm a nudist...
6) One of the light sockets in the bathroom is damaged and dangling free so we can't even install a light-bulb.
7) We have bills to pay, yet we still don't have a mailbox key because the mailbox key and/or lock is damaged.
8) The bathtub drain needs to be replaced as it's currently sitting on the bathroom counter.
These are unacceptable conditions and I was guaranteed they would be immediately repaired upon signing the lease, but they weren't. I've been filing maintenance requests, visited the office, called the office, etc and nothing has been done.
