He has been hands down the best doctor I have ever had. I am going to be real honest about why i see him. I have been addicted to pain pills for about 6 years. I had 13 surgeries in a short period of time and when it came time to get off the pain pills i couldn't. I had horrible seizures and almost died. Dr. Monteil has helped me live a normal life. I had seen several doctors before him for my Suboxone and none of them cared to get me off of it. They were normally in and out in 5 min and never asked how i was doing. Dr.monteil will sit with you and talk to you. He has never been in my room for less than 30 min when i go to see him. He has weaned me down on my doses and remembers everything about my life that i have told him. He wants to make sure you're ok too. Like he understands i am an addict and that not every month is a good month. I have been seeing him for almost a year now and i havent relapsed at all. I am never made to feel bad either. Like the nurses are so nice and understanding and talk to you like you are a human being and not like an addict. If you are struggling with addiction you should go see him. He changed my life and hopefully he will change yours. This is how bad my life had gotten before i went to see him. I was going through a divorce and losing my son. But here i am almost a year later and i am off pain killers and weaning down my suboxone. My marriage is stronger than it has ever been before and my son is happy and healthy. I never imagined i would live a normal life again and here i am not living just a normal life but an extraordinary life.
