My experience with this hospital was a lot different from what I have been reading below. I had a heart attack at my home in Orange Beach Saturday at 3am. I called 911 and the police was the first to arrive at my residents within 2 minutes of my call and followed shortly by the fire department who correctly diagnosed me with having a heart attack. The ambulance arrived soon afterwards and transported me while communicating directly to the ER with medical data to South Baldwin Emergency room. I arrived at the emergency room, I was prepped in the emergency room and moved into the “stint room” staffed by Dr.Trice team within eight in a half minutes from arrival time at South Baldwin ER. . I can’t remember the above-mentioned professional’s names but thank you from me and my family. I can remember the ICU staff. Ms. Dawn, Ms. Kayla, and Mr. Bill. You were all wonderful and very caring and took time to put my family at ease with all the questions they had. A special shout out to Ms. Dawn. I can see why you are a nurse and hope always will be.
This was a awesome team effort by Emergency responders and South Baldwin Hospital which saved my life.
