My mother in law had a terrible experience with Marshall County Gas about a month ago when a new chip was installed in her meter. I see also that another person had the same experience and her bill was also $90.00. That's amazing that 2 people in different parts of the district used the same amount of gas that they had not been charged for.. since January of 2015! It took you that long to realize there was a problem with her chip? Are you kidding me? My mother in law's bill is normally $17 - $19. The most it's probably ever been was around $40. She is a widow and manages money well, but still imagine her surprise when she gets a bill for $90 that she was expecting to be less than $20 AFTER the serviceman ASSURED her that her bill would not go up. And to the rude woman (I am being kind in my description of her) in customer service that took her call, my mother in law may be older than you and a widow, but she's not an idiot. I searched for names of the Gas District's board members, unfortunately, I couldn't find their names or they would have a gotten a visit in person. I would LOVE for anyone else that had this new chip experience to post their love for this natural gas supplier as well. The only good note, she said the serviceman was very polite and respectful.
