DO NOT USE THE SALON!! I have been using JC Penny salon services for years, they were reasonably priced and did a consistent good job. This time however they ruined my hair. I'm not too adventurous with my highlights and didn't think I was requesting anything too challenging, but the first stylist turned my roots orange! Next another stylist tried to fix it and my hair came out "big bird yellow" . By this point I was extremely upset, they has the nerve to try to get me to sign a release! I refused. The second stylist added a toner and made it look less bad. The stylists then tried to tell me that I asked to go to light, trying to shift the blame on me! The manager did not charge me, she gave me a free conditioner, and offered some free deep conditioning treatments, BUT I will NEVER step foot in that place again! 5 hours in that awful salon left me with a burned scalp and fried hair. I'm in a wedding next week and I hope that I can get into a salon that actually knows what they are doing.
