Checking in was a breeze.  The only dumb part about this whole process is that you have to go out to your car, check for scratches and then if you do find any, come back in to give the sheet to the counter.  No one walks around with you at the car. So if you somehow, foresaw the fact, that you were getting into a fender bender, I guess you can mark that down.  The car I had tends to swerve; not feeling the Nissan Versa. It felt unsafe on the highway. Turning in the car was easy.  Just park it at one of the allocated spots and drop the keys off inside.  Done.
