I had a bad experience with Dr Jones front office help today.....to make a long story short, I am a senior citizen living from month to month. I was turned away today (follow up appt from 3 weeks ago)because I could not pay a balance of $50. I was prepared to pay 25 of that....i was confronted about this in front of everyone in the office waiting room. I was so embarrassed.. can you imagine being told that i could not see my Dr because of 25 dollars? Good thing I wasn't suffering from high blood pressure only to walk away and have a stroke in the parking lot...I called back and talked to the office manager who then said she would accept the 25 and that I could reschedule for next week....why couldn't that have been handled privately in another room initially?.....I do not like this kind of treatment... your billing procedures need to change..
