I am a captain d's fan, but as of last night I'm going to have to start going across town to get the food, service and atmosphere that I should have gotten last night at this particular one. First of all they got my order wrong, but that was no big deal. However, in standing once my order was placed I noticed that there was an employee yelling from the kitchen to another employee in the front. It was as if they were arguing and with customers in the restaurant, very unprofessional. Also I noticed an employee in the kitchen pick up their phone with gloves on, make a phone call and proceeded to hold a conversation with someone while making food. By the way they did not change gloves, talk about cross contamination. The level of professionalism was so bad that another employee had their phone up front in clear view of the customers. Where was the manager while all of this was going on, I do not know but it seemed like it didn't matter all that much, because it continued until I left. Last but not least, I waited for over 20 minutes to get my food, where there were several people that came in after me but got their food before me. If you are looking for accuracy, a welcoming atmosphere and courteous customer service, stay away from the captain d's on E. South Boulevard. I will not be going back.
