BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

This place is always great. I know it’s a chain but it never feels like one. I’ve never had any food I didn’t like there and service is always good. This time they were out of several beers I wanted, but that happens. We had the loaded potato skins and the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Very good. The dessert is always great too if you save room!

My family and I have visited BJ's about ten times. The first time, the service and food were outstanding. Second time, the food was good, but the service was only fair. Since then, it seems to have gone downhill. Food is often wrong the first time it comes to the table, and today the service bordered on awful. It was not busy when we arrived nor when we left. While the food was good today, it was not served hot. We wanted and intended to order dessert but never had the chance. The next/last time we saw the waiter, he dropped off check at the table as he walked past. He never asked if we wanted to order anything else. At this point, I don't know if we will go back or not. Also, I don't know if I would trust getting food to-go without checking each and every item. Lastly, as we were leaving, we had to walk through a small group of employees standing in front of our vehicle, smoking. As non-smokers, we found this not only rude, but awful to have to walk through a cloud of foul-smelling smoke.
